Most boosters are municipal or industrial, which are spec driven. Residential boosters are rare.

 

OLS for Booster is what we like to push people toward because the programming is already done.

 

VFD panels are great for booster applications. They maintain constant pressure without flow variation and use the pump most efficiently by running at the optimal speed.

Our most common controls are for drip disposal systems. Most are simple electromechanical or MVP for residential or light industrial/municipal. Larger commercial/municipal systems are typically TCOM or TCOM-XL. Mainly controlling valves for drip zones.

 

Pressurized irrigation systems are similar to drip, but rather than opening valves we are turning on pumps.

 

Center pivot controls are less common for us because most center pivots are sold with the controls for movement as well as plumbing. We typically sell booster controls for large ag applications.

 

There is some cross-over to rainwater harvesting and well/reservoir controls of course, as both are important to irrigation. The point is we can provide one point of control for everything, which simplifies monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
