Can be simple and low cost (MVP), full feature with remote access (OLS, TCOM or TCOM-XL), or built to spec (Custom PLC).
Most boosters are municipal or industrial, which are spec driven. Residential boosters are rare.
OLS for Booster is what we like to push people toward because the programming is already done.
VFD panels are great for booster applications. They maintain constant pressure without flow variation and use the pump most efficiently by running at the optimal speed.
Simple and low cost or built to spec. Most are residential so tend toward low cost solutions (Electromechanical or MVP).
Typically, pressure switch or float controlled, where the reservoir level is continually monitored and the well pump activated to maintain the level.
We offer pump monitoring with MVP and TCOM panels. Well monitoring for dry well or broken pipe can lengthen the pump life and prevent failure, minimize down time. MVP would be local, TCOM remote accessible.
Control Panels
Grey water reuse. Typical application is commercial space (gas station, comfort station, rest area) use of gray water for toilet flushing.
Rainwater harvesting. Typical application is a comfort station or rest area, sometimes residential too where rain water is stored for water needs, toilet flushing or light irrigation.
Typically, Electromechanical or MVP, some applications TCOM built to spec. We often work directly with the contractor or owner to help develop the most efficient control panel for their application.
Our most common controls are for drip disposal systems. Most are simple electromechanical or MVP for residential or light industrial/municipal. Larger commercial/municipal systems are typically TCOM or TCOM-XL. Mainly controlling valves for drip zones.
Pressurized irrigation systems are similar to drip, but rather than opening valves we are turning on pumps.
Center pivot controls are less common for us because most center pivots are sold with the controls for movement as well as plumbing. We typically sell booster controls for large ag applications.
There is some cross-over to rainwater harvesting and well/reservoir controls of course, as both are important to irrigation. The point is we can provide one point of control for everything, which simplifies monitoring, maintenance and troubleshooting.
